Care: Handmade custom carpets should be cleaned with care so as not to damage or stress the carpet’s fibers. We suggest cleaning your rug with a delicate solution of warm soapy water, and blotting, never rubbing to remove any stains. We also suggest vacuuming your carpet every 1-2 weeks. To ensure the longevity of your handmade carpet, do not vacuum using a strong suction, a beater brush, or other aggressive vacuum attachments.
Please note color variation is typical for hand-made rugs to have a 5-15% shade band, which means there may be slight differences in colorfastness between different areas of the rug. This is a result of the hand-crafting process and adds to the unique character of the rug.
The sizing of handmade rugs, patterns, the scale of motifs, and borders are adjusted proportionally to accommodate larger rug sizes. Due to the nature of handcrafting, there can be slight variations in the rug's length and width, typically ranging from 1 to 3 inches from the standard sizing.
